Time for a glow up

Time for a glow up

We might be living in a city that peaked in 1853, but it doesn't mean we need to stay chained to the past.

It's time for a glow up.

OLD:

We found gold here, and we'll never let you forget it

A piece of infrastucture from the 19th century half-buried in the ground isn't exactly the image we want to project to businesses and tourists and our enemies.

We need something modern. Something futuristic. Something that will entice people to come from far and wide.

We've got just the thing.

NEW:

<INSERT KEYTAR SOLO>

Fill the Bendigo Creek, make the bank building look like LexCorp Tower, bathe it all in neon. If that doesn't get tourists fanging up the Calder dodging potholes on their Akira bike, nothing will.

We've already called it Sandhurst once before, let's go again. It's been so long that it's now retro, or vintage, or whatever-the-term-to-describe-old-crap-on-Etsy is.

You're welcome.
